With so many different ways to market one’s business, the decision to choose one or more and stick with them may seem a tough challenge.
While surfing the Net a few years back, I came across this 10-minute story called the Pipeline Parable that left a lasting impression on me. I found it to be a simple, entertaining way to illustrate the profound reality of the synergy of networking-based business models.
Whether you simply don’t know much about network-marketing and really just need something to
help you go “Oh, I see!” or you already comprehend and have a growing passion (like me) for smartly replacing that 9-to-5, this story is for you!
I’ve found it to be a great way to start conversations with people I know on the topic of what helped motivate me to start up my business. In fact, after sending out the Pipeline Parable link by email, people were approaching me afterwards.
One in particular, a good friend and sales rep for Merck Pharmaceuticals – who’s grown tired of his job and is considering a home-based business – approached me the day after receiving my email, recalling the main character’s names. Obviously, the story had made an impression on him! Due to his own medical background, he’s still a bit skeptical, but there’s a good chance he’ll eventually come around and join my team.
